How to add your cards to Samsung Pay

How do I add my Wells Fargo cards to Samsung Pay?

There are two ways to add your Wells Fargo cards to Samsung Pay, through the Wells Fargo Mobile® app or directly through Samsung Pay. To learn how to add your eligible Wells Fargo cards directly through Samsung Pay, see the Samsung Pay instructions.

How to add your cards through the Wells Fargo Mobile app (AndroidTM)

  1. In your Wells Fargo Mobile app, tap Menu in the bottom bar, select Card Settings, then tap Digital Wallet.
  2. All eligible digital wallets will display, and then tap Samsung Pay.
  3. All eligible cards will display, tap the Add to Samsung Pay button next to the card you would like to add. Follow any additional instructions to verify and activate your card. Your card is now ready for use with Samsung Pay.

Which Wells Fargo cards can I add to Samsung Pay?

You can add most Visa® and Mastercard® branded Wells Fargo Debit and Credit Cards to Samsung Pay.

How do I set my Wells Fargo card as my default card in Samsung Pay?

You do not have the ability to set a default card in Samsung Pay. The last card you used or viewed in Samsung Pay will automatically appear as the card that would be used the next time you open the app. However, you can easily swipe between all the cards you have added and select a different card before making a purchase.

Can I add multiple Wells Fargo cards to Samsung Pay?

Yes, you can add up to 10 cards to Samsung Pay. You can easily switch between cards whenever you make a purchase. Devices, including the Gear smartwatch, do not share cards, so if you would like to use the same card on two different devices, you will need to add the card on each device separately.

Security

Is Samsung Pay safe and secure for making payments? How does Wells Fargo help protect me against fraud?

The safety and security of your account information is a top priority.

When you pay with Samsung Pay and your Wells Fargo card:

  • Your actual card number is replaced with a unique digital card number, which means businesses do not see or store your full card number.
  • All Wells Fargo transactions are monitored by our 24/7 risk and fraud detection systems.
  • Purchases made with your Wells Fargo card are protected by Zero Liability protection, so you won't be held responsible for promptly reported unauthorized card transactions.

Why am I being asked to verify my Wells Fargo card?

For security reasons, we may need you to provide additional verification to add your Wells Fargo card to Samsung Pay. If necessary, the Samsung Pay app will tell you how to verify your card.

What if I find unauthorized charges on the Wells Fargo card(s) I use with Samsung Pay?

Your Wells Fargo Debit and Credit Cards come with the built-in security of Wells Fargo’s fraud monitoring and Zero Liability protection. If your card or its number is ever lost or stolen, subject to certain conditions, you won't be held responsible for unauthorized card transactions when you report them promptly.
