Saul Van Beurden is the head of Consumer, Small & Business Banking (CSBB), which serves our consumer, small, and business banking customers through all digital channels, numerous retail branches, ATMs, and customer service centers.
Saul previously served as the head of Technology and led the global team of information technology and security professionals. Under his leadership, the team executed an engineering-led IT strategy, driving the company’s transformation efforts to become a leader in risk management and innovation for our customers and clients.
Saul is the executive co-sponsor for Wells Fargo's Disability Connection Employee Resource Network, and in 2020, started the Neurodiversity Hiring program in Technology, which has now been scaled to other functions at the company. He also sits on the Board of the Wells Fargo Foundation, which harnesses the power of philanthropy.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo in April 2019, Saul was chief information officer of Consumer and Community Banking at JPMorgan Chase. He also has served in Technology & Operations leadership roles at Marsh & McLennan, ING Group, and various firms in his native Netherlands.
Saul is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Museum of American Finance in New York.
