How To Report Fraud on Personal and Small Business Accounts

Contact us immediately if you suspect fraud on your account(s) or you responded to a suspicious email, text message, or phone call. When you call, we will review your accounts, identify all unauthorized transactions, and help keep your accounts secure. If you have already submitted a fraud claim, review these common questions.

If you responded to a suspicious email or text message by clicking a link, opening an attachment, or providing personal or account information, call us immediately at 1-866-867-5568.

If you did not respond, forward the suspicious email or text message to reportphish@wellsfargo.com. You will receive an automated response.

How long is the claims process?

We will work quickly to resolve your claim within 10 business days of submission. If we need more time, we'll apply a temporary credit to your account after 10 business days.
