What are the best practices for creating a password?

Use:

  • A unique password not used anywhere else.
  • Upper and lower case letters along with numbers and special characters (@, %, &, #).

Don’t use:

  • Your username or email address.
  • Personal information (your name, phone number, etc.).

Don't:

  • Write down your password.
  • Share your password with anyone.
  • Save your password in a browser.

What are the best practices for creating a username?

Create a unique username not used anywhere else. Don’t use any part of your email address or personal information such as your name, street name, phone number, or Social Security number.

Memorize your username, and do not write it down.

How do I access my Wells Fargo accounts online?

You can access it from your desktop or mobile device. Once you've enrolled, you'll receive an email confirmation, and you'll be ready to sign on and manage your accounts.

How do I download the Wells Fargo Mobile® app?

The Wells Fargo Mobile® app is available for Apple® and AndroidTM devices. Wells Fargo Mobile app on the App StoreSM and on Google PlayTM.

How do I get a username and password?

Set up online access from your desktop or mobile device for secure online access to your accounts. During the enrollment process, you will select a username and password.

Once enrolled, do not share your username or password with anyone. We recommend you select a unique username and password, and memorize it rather than writing it down.

How do I access my business accounts online?

Enroll in Wells Fargo Business Online® from your desktop or mobile device for secure online access to your business accounts. You’ll need:

  1. ATM/debit or credit card number or Wells Fargo account or loan number
  2. Social Security or Tax ID number
  3. Access to your email
  4. Your current telephone number

If you are a business customer, please enter your personal Social Security or Tax ID number (not your Employer Identification Number), so that we can identify you as an individual and verify your authorization for online access to the account number you enter. We will provide you online access to all eligible business and personal accounts, provided you have proper signing authority on the account(s).

Depending on the types of accounts you have and your relationship to these accounts, your accounts will appear in one or more views.

I just opened a new account but I don't see it through Wells Fargo Online. What should I do?

Sign on to manage online account access information. Eligible personal and business accounts include checking and savings, credit card, mortgage, home equity accounts, personal loans and lines of credit, commercial loans, business lines of credit, auto loans, brokerage, IRAs, and CDs (Time Accounts).

If you do not see the account you want to add, please call 1-800-956-4442.

Is there a charge to access my accounts through Wells Fargo Online?

No. There’s no monthly or per transaction fee for accessing your accounts online.

Is there a charge to use Wells Fargo Online Bill Pay?
